Charlotte Giles writes plays about resilient women. Not only did she win the Helen Jean Award for Literary Excellence for Directions, but also an invitation to the Renegade Play Festival in Michigan. Pittsburgh New Works Festival produced Thursday Mornings and Sunday Nights. Pinky and Rhubarb received a Dramatists Guild Footlight staged reading in Texas and first place in Cloverdale Theatre’s Page-to-Stage Festival in Alabama. Giles lives in Texas with four dogs, a cat, her children, and her adored granddaughter.

Originally from Slovenia, Gaia Visnar (she/her) is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School. NY theatre credits include Claire in The Maids and Ismene in The People Vs Antigone (The Seeing Place Theater), Paige in The Doorman (HB Playwrights Theatre), Jennifer in Revealing (NYNW), Ravnyeskaya in The Cherry Orchard and Brutus in Julius Caesar (Circle in the Square – PW). Sabastian Zeqharr is an actor who hails from the south of the Carolina’s. Graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Interned at SNL. Studied improv at UCB.
Sabastian isn’t fond of speaking about Sabastian but Sabastian does it when Sabastian must. His credits consist of indie projects and many random commercials (Skateboarding for Mountain Dew, Bleacher Report, AT&T) and tv spots Homicide City (killer of course) and Danny’s House.
Art is Art, Life is Life and sometime it's both.
Zoey
Sabrina Schlegel-Mejia is a Colombian/Swiss actor based in New York. She is thrilled to be playing Zoey in Elemental Women Production's reading of Directions by Charlotte Giles. Since graduating from AADA's conservatory program, Sabrina has appeared as Isabella in Measure for Measure, Antigone in People Vs. Antigone, as well as Farris in award-winning short film GIRL FRIEND. Other projects include We Are Not Content!, Vessel of The Beast, Ledze and Lore, JOJI 22, LAB RAT, Tadhana, The Innocent, Albanian Gangster Part II, and The Uncounted.
Bianca and Freya
Elizabeth Broghanne Jessamine is a Co-Founder and Managing Artistic Director of Elemental Women Productions and originally from Scotland. Broghanne moved to New York City in 2012 to study performance at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Broghanne has worked in Theatre (Elemental Women Productions, the #metoo Plays, The Seeing Place Theater), Voiceover (Panda and Krash), Film and TV. Prior to moving to New York, Broghanne participated in numerous cultural festivals throughout Scotland and in Germany to bring theatre and performance that explores social issues to a wider audience.
Josh
Ari (he/him) is an actor and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. He is currently working on his upcoming short film, “Remember/Tomorrow,” which he wrote, acted in, and is producing with Konstantine Productions (learn more on IG: @remembertomorrow_shortfilm). Some of Ari’s favorite theatrical projects include “Hedda Gabler” (HERE Arts Center) and “Cloud 9” (The Seeing Place Theater). He’s excited to contribute to the development of this play with such a great group of artists!

Co-Founder and Literary Director of Elemental Women Productions and making her Directorial debut, Mikayla Olivia Orrson is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mikayla moved to New York City in 2012 to pursue an education at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She also studied at the Jacob Krueger Studio, with a focus in sitcom writing. As well as studying at the Gotham Writer’s Workshop for playwriting. Mikayla has also acted in multiple web series and short films. She performed in the 2016 NYC Fringe Festival. Most recently Mikayla wrote and performed in The Right and Left Plays produced by EWP, starring in her one women show, '15 Minutes of Infamy'
