Our Productions: Theater and Film

Our mission is to empower women's voices and experiences though the arts. We do this by producing theater and film that is devloped and led by women. Each of our projects, whether a play, film or podcast must have a team that is comprised of at least 75% women artists.

Partial Program by Ali Zagame

We are developing Partial Program into  our first full length film. 

Partial Program written by Ali Zagame talks about Eating Disorders and the many people they effect. Following the first experience of entering an eating disorder recovery program Young Woman meets her support group and the professionals that are to help her.

Socks by Broghanne Jessamine

Socks is a film about love, colors, and sisterhood. Specifically that no matter what, no matter who you are, those who you call sisters will most definitely steal your socks!   We look forward to exploring and developing this fun short film in 2021.

Unusual Women Season 2

In 2019 we produced our first season of Unusual Women. A podcast that highlights women throghout history and their, often overlooked and under taught, achomplishments.

The Right and Left Plays: Full Production

Written by Literary Director and Co-Founder Mikayla Olivia Orrson and  directed by Rachael Murray, 'Polar' and '15 Minutes of Infamy' are two  short one act plays that explore change and its affect. 

'Polar'  developed from previous staged reading, explores the relationship between two polar opposite women,  who battle  each other's personality, morality and sexuality against  their genuine  sisterly love for one another.

Cast: Broghanne Jessamine, Anastasia Marchelos and Mikayla Olivia Orrson.
'15 Minutes of Infamy' a one woman performance that captures the moments of limbo before a critical life decision.

We are Survivors seeks to remind Survivors of Sexual harrassment/assault/violence/abuse that they are not alone. That they will be believed and they will be heard.

A Series on Surviving follows thoughts through poetry and film of the journey after a sexual assault. 

We hosted a film screening and panel conversation that spoke about the stigma surrounding sexual assault/violence/abuse and what we can do to change that.
